Project Management for Green Initiatives
Wednesday, February 17, 2010

Have you been asked recently, to create and implement a sustainability initiative for your company or client and had little idea about where to begin? If so, you will want to attend the February 17th Women’s Council LeadershipLink webinar!

Sometimes initiating a new program can seem overwhelming, particularly when it is an add-on to your regular responsibilities. Where do you begin, whose buy-in do you need, when do you follow-up, how do you monitor and define success?

If you are one of the many members who have asked these questions, this upcoming webinar will have timely, useful information for you. It will give you an outline and step-by-step training on Project Planning, including…

  • Creating a plan
  • Developing a timeline
  • Buy-in and delegation
  • Defining the scope
  • Managing the project
  • Key performance indicators, success criteria, tracking and reporting
  • Financials and ROI
  • Hints, tips and common mistakes

And, as an added bonus, included in the webinar are two Planning Exercises; one to plan a composting program, the other to plan energy efficiency in the kitchen. Attendees will be able to follow the speakers as they take you through the steps to successfully plan and implement Green Initiatives like these.

Do not miss this opportunity to learn Project and Program Planning and Management from the experts on February 17 at 4pm EST (1pm PST). For registered participants, the presentation and exercises will be available for download immediately following the webinar.
