This site will serve as your premiere source for information, definitions, formulas and a host of technical data to help you in your foodservice career. This is a resource and a "living" site that will continue to grow with our industry, experiences and trends. This is your Association and your site and we encourage you to submit postings, both new and suggested updates to those that already exist. MISSION STATEMENT: Our goal in developing the SFM Body of Knowledge is to maintain a set of common industry references and information for the benefit of our members. Use of this information will enhance members' professional expertise, encourage their active involvement in the development of standards, and position them for further leadership in our industry. The information contained with the SFM Body of Knowledge is designed to educate and broaden members' industry knowledge, while maintaining the information in a manner that keeps it current. The Body of Knowledge will also provide a valuable opportunity for SFM members to network in a constructive way that enhances the professional capabilities of the Association. |
